How to take care of your costume

1. hand washing - the most important rules

  • Always by hand, in cool or lukewarm water (up to 30 °C) - without soaking
  • Use mild detergents (color fluid, mild soap or shampoo) .
  • DO NOT USE DRYERS (Lenor type), bleach or enzymatic detergents - destroy adhesives, foil and decorations. For decorations are usually used adhesives water-based, which combines durability with flexibility - but require delicate handling.
  • Don't soak, do not rub the application, do not wring, rinse immediately

2. celebration with ornaments and special fabrics

  • All clothing must be washed separately
  • Turn the costume inside out Before washing to protect applications
  • Do not scratch, rub or knead - Otherwise sequins, glue or foil can be damaged
  • Treat applications very gently, especially when the parts are glued

3. drying and ironing

  • Dry flat, Away from the sun, heater and tumble dryer
  • Do not iron, do not dry clean, do not bleach - High temperatures and strong chemicals damage fabrics and ornaments .

4 Storage and additional guidance

  • Air out your costume after each performance - You will avoid the accumulation of moisture and bacteria (general advice, confirmed by manufacturers of technical sportswear).
  • Avoid direct contact with cosmetics, perfumes and varnishes - May cause discoloration or weakening of adhesives on delicate fabrics
  • If the costume has metallized film (hologram, mesh), treat it especially gently - these are prone to discoloration materials

IMPORTANCE:

  • Fabric softeners negatively affect adhesives used on clothes, causing ornaments to fall off, discoloration on fabrics
  • Alcohol in all aerosol products, such as hairspray, affects delicate fabrics. Cover your clothes before applying. Perfumes and body lotions can also affect these fabrics.
  • Deodorants and sweat can cause these fabrics to yellow, fade or lose color, especially when the two colors meet under the arms. We recommend using a pure crystal deodorant that does not contain aluminum chlorohydrate.
